Quick answer: TNT SIM numbers use Smart’s mobile prefixes, such as 0907, 0909, 0910, 0912, 0930, 0938, 0946, 0948 and 0950. A local number has 11 digits starting with 09 (for example 0918 123 4567), and from abroad it’s +63 followed by 10 digits. A prefix shows which network first issued the number. Because of number porting, it can’t prove the number is on TNT today.
Maybe you want to know whether a number is TNT before using a same-network promo. Maybe you just forgot your own number. This guide gives you the prefix list, the right formats, every reliable way to find your number, and what to know about recycled and ported numbers.

How TNT SIM Numbers Are Formatted
| Dialing from | Format | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Inside the Philippines | 09XX XXX XXXX (11 digits) | 0918 123 4567 |
| From abroad | +63 9XX XXX XXXX (10 digits after +63) | +63 918 123 4567 |
| Some online forms | 9XX XXX XXXX (10 digits, no 0) | 918 123 4567 |
The last row trips people up. Some forms want the leading 0 and others don’t, so follow the hint in the box. The digits after the 0 or +63 never change.
When you save a contact, store it as +63 9XX…. That format works whether you’re in Manila or overseas.
TNT and Smart Prefix List
TNT is a Smart brand, and both share one block of prefixes. The number alone doesn’t tell you whether it’s TNT or Smart. That depends on which SIM pack was sold.
Prefixes commonly listed for TNT:
- 0907, 0909, 0910, 0912
- 0930, 0938
- 0946, 0948
- 0950
Other prefixes in the Smart/TNT block (they can be either brand):
- 0908, 0911, 0913, 0914, 0918, 0919, 0920, 0921, 0928, 0929, 0939, 0947, 0949, 0951
- 0961, 0963, 0968, 0969, 0970, 0981, 0985, 0989, 0998, 0999
- 0813
Some former Sun Cellular prefixes now sit under Smart as well.
Globe and DITO Prefixes, for Comparison
If a prefix isn’t on the list above, it may belong to another network. Commonly listed blocks include:
- Globe / TM / GOMO: 0905, 0906, 0915, 0916, 0917, 0926, 0927, 0935, 0936, 0937, 0945, 0953–0959, 0965–0967, 0975–0979, 0995–0997, 0817
- DITO: 0895–0898, 0991–0994
Use these only as a rough guide. They come from the same unofficial trackers, and porting moves numbers between networks.
Why a Prefix Isn’t Proof
Two things break the “prefix = network” rule:
- Mobile Number Portability (MNP). Under RA 11202, you can move your number to another network and keep it. A 0917 (Globe) number may be on TNT now, and a 0907 may be on Globe or DITO.
- Shared blocks. Smart, TNT and the old Sun prefixes all sit under one company, so a prefix can’t tell them apart.
If it matters, for example for a same-network promo, ask the person or check the network name on their texts.
How to Find Your Own TNT Number
Forgot your number? Try these, starting with the easiest:
- Smart app: log in, and your number shows on the dashboard.
- MySmart: log in at my.smart.com.ph to see your linked number.
- Text or call a friend, and ask them to read your number back.
- SIM packaging: new SIM packs print the TNT SIM number on the card holder.
- Phone settings: Android, go to Settings > About phone > SIM status. iPhone, go to Settings > Phone > My Number. It’s sometimes blank on prepaid SIMs.
- Ask the hotline: dial *888 and an agent can confirm your number after checking your identity.
You may see *1234# mentioned online as a code that shows your number. It shows up in only one third-party source, so we haven’t included it.

Getting a New TNT Number
New numbers come with new SIMs. Buy a physical SIM or an eSIM from a Smart Store or the Smart Online Store. Our eSIM setup guide covers the digital option.
Every new number must be registered before it works. Follow our step-by-step registration guide.
You usually can’t choose a specific “vanity” number at a store.
Keeping Your Number: Replacement, eSIM and Porting
Your number can outlive the SIM card they came on:
| Situation | What to do | Same number? | Cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| SIM lost or damaged | Get a replacement at a Smart Store with your ID | Yes | Ask at the store |
| Move to eSIM (“tnt esim same number”) | Upgrade at a Smart Store or through MySmart | Yes | ₱89 |
| Come from Globe/DITO | Port through MNP with a USC code | Yes | Free |
| Number disconnected | Buy a new SIM | No | New SIM price |
The USC (Unique Subscriber Code) is a 9-digit code from your current network, valid for 15 days, according to TNT’s MNP page.
Recycled Numbers
TNT’s terms say permanently disconnected numbers can be reissued 180 days after disconnection. So a “new” number may have belonged to someone else, and you might get their old texts or OTPs.
If that happens:
- Update the number on your own bank, GCash, Maya and social accounts.
- Ignore OTPs meant for the old owner, and never use them.
- If an app says the number is “already linked,” contact that app’s support, not TNT. TNT’s terms say it can’t change third-party accounts.
To keep your own number from being recycled, keep it loaded. TNT’s terms say a SIM at zero load for 120 days in a row is permanently disconnected. Need help? See our full list of help channels.

Mobile Number Prefixes in the PhilippinesFAQs
How many digits are TNT SIM numbers?
11 digits locally (09XX XXX XXXX), or 10 digits after +63.
Is 0907 TNT?
0907 is in the Smart/TNT block and is commonly sold as TNT. Because of porting, it isn’t guaranteed to be on TNT today.
Can I keep my number if I switch to TNT from Globe or DITO?
Yes. MNP is free. Get a USC from your current network and go to a Smart Store.
Can I find out who owns a TNT number?
No. Registration data is private under RA 11934, and TNT won’t reveal it except through legal process.
Conclusion
You now know how TNT SIM numbers are formatted, which prefixes belong to the Smart/TNT block, why a prefix alone can mislead you, how to find your own number in under a minute, and how to keep it through a lost SIM, an eSIM upgrade or a network switch.
